GA Practical Cosmetology Exam. What to Bring
First, show up on time. Bring TWO forms of ID. Your driver’s license (or military ID), plus a signed credit card or social security card.
Bring a kit that contains everything required by Georgia. (And nothing that is prohibited.) That includes a mannequin head and hand and a table clamp.
Pre-sectioned mannequin heads? Don’t even think about it. You cannot use mannequin heads that have the sections colored or notched.
Bring EPA-registered disinfectant WIPES that demonstrate bactericidal, fungicidal, and viricidal properties. Do not bring a spray can of disinfectant.
And don’t wear hairspray. Yes, you read that correctly. Don’t wear hairspray to your GA cosmetology exam. There’s a whole thing about NO HAIRSPRAY on the Georgia candidate information bulletin.

Where to take the Georgia Cosmetology State Board Exam
